Engagement Photo Session

I wouldn’t classify myself as a wedding or engagement photographer however, I do shoot a handful of weddings and engagement sessions throughout the year and having so few really makes them that much more fun and special to me. As a creative it can be stifling to stick with the same thing repeatedly and over the years I have thought that I needed to stick with a specific genre of photography in order to be successful. The more time went on I realized this was just not true. I made the decision to be ok with the fact that I can wear many hats and take on different types of photography projects and still be great and what I do. It makes my job fun, exciting, and fresh which makes me a better, more passionate photographer. If you are recently engaged and planning a wedding and you are looking for a photographer, I would love to photograph your south Florida engagement session and wedding! I’m also available to travel, too. Drop me a line here.

When my brother got engaged, him and his fiancé asked me to do their engagement photos and I of course said yes! What an honor for me to be able to capture the love that these two people share and we had so much fun on our shoot that day in Palm Beach. I advised Jessica, my sister in law to be, that both her and my brother Brandon should have about two wardrobe options each. She chose one white dress - a bit more tailored and sleek, while the other a bit more casual/beachy to go with the photos taken on the beach. Brandon’s outfits complimented hers perfectly! For any engagement shoot I really advise selecting lighter/solid colors with limited patterns. Avoid any overly bright colors. Jessica purchased her two dresses from Revolve.com (seen below). If interested in purchasing either of these dresses here are the links: PatBo Fringe Dress and ALIX NYC Watson Dress

Here are a few of my favorite photos from the shoot!
