Poke House Fort Lauderdale
July 6, 2020The hospitality industry has definitely been hit hard during this pandemic, yet it’s been amazing to see many local restaurants adjusting to the changes and rising above the limitations by amping up takeout with curbside pickups, delivery, and of course safety and sanitation measures for dine-in customers - Such is the case with Poke House in Fort Lauderdale. I absolutely love this place for the vibe, the people, and of course the food. The first time I tried Poke was in Hawaii when I traveled there in December and ever since I haven’t found a local place that quite measures up until I came here for the photoshoot. The menu consists of Poke Bowls, but also some unique creations such as the Pokerito - an insanely delicious merging of a sushi roll and a poke bowl all in one. They also have wraps and newly added steamed buns! Who doesn’t love a good bun!
I don’t know about you guys but for me food can really transport me back to a certain time/place - and taking a bite out of one of these dishes took me right back to Hanalei Beach on the island of Kauai. All the feels!
