Romantic Fort Lauderdale Beach Engagement Proposal

Fedor and Liz - the sweetest people from Wisconsin ventured down to Florida for vacation to escape the cold and enjoy the beautiful weather we have here during the winter and to Liz’s surprise become an engaged woman! Fedor reached out to me a few months prior to the trip to talk through the details of the proposal. I know how special this moment would be for both of them as I learned that they had been together for 10 years! We sneakily had a few phone calls, texts, and emails back and forth until we came up with the idea. I wanted to make this proposal extra special for both of them and was able to set up a beach blanket with some pillows and a bucket of champagne with some champagne flutes. The plan was that they would arrive to the DUNE restaurant located at the Auberge Hotel on the beach in Fort Lauderdale and grab an appetizer and drink at the bar first. Then Fedor would convince Liz to take a walk with him down the beach and stumble upon the cute area I had set up for them. I was hiding in the sand dunes waiting for the moment for him to get down on one knee and pop the question. It was so exciting! Great news - SHE SAID YES!! Once the proposal happened I took the couple around for some portraits until their dinner reservation. DUNE did an amazing job with setting up an intimate table setting away from the remaining guests. It was perfect!
